Nicotlana Tobaccum adı verilen yaprakli bir bitki olan tütünün 65 türü bulunmaktadır. Tütün dünyada değişik şekillerde kullanılmaktadır. Ancak en yaygın kullanım şekli sigara şeklinde içiimesidir, Sigara alışkanlığı nedenleri şu şekilde gruplanabilir : ailelerin etkisi akranların baskısı, okul çevresi, psikososyal etkenler.

Tobacco is a leafy plant called Nicotiana Tobaccum. There are at least 65 varieties of tobacco and it is strogly adıctive. Although, there are different ways of tobacco usage, cigarette smoking is seen more commonly. Cigarette smoking is a widespread problem and the causes of smoking can be grouped as : family effects, pecr pressure, school environment and psychosocial factors.
