Kemoterapi Alan Hastalarda Ağız Bakımı Standardının Ağız Komplikasyonları Gelişme Riskini Önlemesinin İncelenmesi

B u ç a l ı ş ma , k emot er a p i a l a n ha s t a l ar da s t a nda r t l ar do ğr ul t us un da uygulanan bakımın ağız komplikasyonlarının gelişimi üzerindeki etkisini incelemek amacıyla planlandırılmıştır. Deneysel olarak planlanan bu çalışmanın örneklemini; Ege Üniversitesi Tıp fakültesi ve Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinde kemoterapi al an 40 hasta oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak hasta Bilgi Toplama Formu ve Ağız Değerlendirme Rehberi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi SPSS programında yapılmıştır. Hastaların yaş dağılımları incelendiğinde deney grubundaki hastaların %45'inin kontrol grubundaki hastaların %35'inin 41 -60 yaş aralığında olduğu belirlenmiştir. Deney grubundaki hastaların tedavi öncesi ve sonrası ağız değerlendirme rehberinden aldıkları puan ortalamaları arasındaki fark istatistiksel olarak önemli bulunmazken, kontrol grubundaki hastaların tedavi sonrası değerleri öncesine göre artış göstermiş ve aradaki fark istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmuşt ur. Deney ve kontrol grupları ağız değerlendirme rehberinde yer alan her bir kriterden aldıkları puan ortalamaları yönünden karşılaştırılmış olup; deney grubunun puan ortalamasında tedavi öncesine göre düşüş gözlenmiş, kontrol grub unda ise artış gözl enmiş ve aradaki fark istatistiksel olarak anla mlı bulunmuşt ur

THE EXAMİNATİON OFF THE MOUTH COMPLİCATİON DEVOLEPMENTAL RISK PREVENTİON OFF THE CARE STANDARDS İN THE PATİENTS

I n t h i s s t u d y , i t h a s b e e e n a i m e d t o a n a l y s e ; t o ex a m i n e t h e o r a l complication riske to prevent by oral care protocols in the patient cured by chemo theraphy. 40 patients treated by chemoterapy at the Ege Üniversty, Medicine Faculty Hospital and Adnan Menderes Üniversty, Medicine Faculty Hospital have formed the sample of this study planned as experimental. Forms for collecting information about patients and a m outh evaluation guide were used in the study as data collection means. Data were evaluated SPSS programs. When the patients age distribution was examined, it was determined that % 45 of the patients in the experiments group and % 35 of the patients in the control group were in the age group of 41-60. Wh i l e t h e d i f f er en ce b et w een sco re a vera g es o f t h e p a t i en t s in th e experiment group before and after the treatment obtained from the mouth evaluation guides was found statistically unimportant, the values of the patients in the control group after the treatment increased when comparing the values before the treatment and the difference between them was found statistically meaningful. The score averages obtained from each criterion in the mouth evaluation guide by both experiment and control groups were compared. A decrease was observed in the score average of the experiment group after the treatment comparing with before the treatment. On the other hand, an increase was observed in the control group and the difference between them was found statiscally meaningful. At the and of the study, on expected decrease in the average scores fot the criteria in the mouth eveluation guide was not observed. Patients are offered active share in their own care
