Bu çalışma, öğrencilerin sağlığa ilişkin bilgilerini, öğrencilerin kendi gö rüşlerine dayalı fiziksel ve psikososyal sağlık sorunlarını, hizmetlerinden yarar lanma durumlarını, geliştirecek okul sağlığı hizmetleri konusunda öğrencilerin kendi görüş ve beklentilerini ve öğretmenlerin öğrencilerinde gözledikleri fiziksel ve psikososyal sağlık sorunlarını saptamak amacıyla yapılmıştır

This researeh has been made to derine major health problems and the health needs of female adolescent stuclents and their status in utilizing health care resources. This study aimed also to find out the above mentioned subjecL9 from the view point of the t eachers of this school. llesearch was conducted on 339 female aciolescent students and Sl teachers of Bornova Vocational Sclıool For Girls. The results showed that the students had more physical health problems than psychosocial health problems. The teachers also indicated that they had observed similar health problems on students. Headache, vision problems and mensturial disorders were the most frequently explained prohlems, it was also found out that the students vere in need of lıealth education related to c, sexual, family planning», psychologic problenıs, and .body hygene, . Consequently these findings indicated that the students needed well organised health education prograrnmes including the subjects mentioned ahove. There is an appearant need for the active school health and nursing program/nes in tlıe schools of all levels in Tıırkey.
