TÜRKÇE ÖĞRETMENİ ADAYLARININ ÖZEL ALAN YETERLİKLERİNE SAHİP OLMA DURUMLARINA İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Türkçe öğretmeni adaylarının “Türkçe öğretmeni özel alan yeterlikleri”ne sahip olma durumlarına ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılan çalışmada, betimsel nitelikli tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığının hazırladığı Türkçe Öğretmeni Özel Alan Yeterlikleri’deki 5 ana yeterlik alanı ve 25 alt yeterlikten yararlanılarak oluşturulan anket yoluyla toplanan verilerin analizinde, frekans(f) ve yüzde(%) hesaplamaları kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılanların yarıdan fazlasının Türkçe öğretmeni özel alan yeterlik alanlarının tümünde kendisini “yeterli” gördüğü sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. 

PRE-SERVICE TURKISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS' OPINIONS ON ACQUIRING COMPETENCIES IN SPECIAL FIELD

In this study a descriptive scanning model is used in order to determine the pre-service Turkish language teachers' opinions regarding their competencies in the special field of Turkish Language Teaching. The study group in this research consists of 80 students (45 female and 35 male) who graduated from the Department of Turkish Language Education at Necatibey Faculty of Education in 2009-2010. A questionnaire that has been designed by the Ministry of Education is used as a tool for data collection. The questionnaire consists of 5 major competency areas and 25 sub-competencies in the special field of Turkish Language Teaching. Collected data were analyzed by frequency (f) and percent (%) calculations. More than half of the participants consider themselves as 'sufficient' in Turkish Language Teaching special field on the whole. In detail, the research indicates that pre-service Turkish language teachers verify their 'sufficient' competency in the Turkish Language Teaching special field as Providing Professional Development in Turkish Language Field (62,5%), Improving Language Skills (60,6%), Observing and Evaluating Language Improvement (56,2%), Planning and Organizing the Teaching Process (55,0%) and Co-operating With School-Family and Society (52,5%).
