Bu çalışmanın amacı Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Matematik Öğretmenliği ve Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği öğrencilerinin kimya laboratuarına yönelik endişelerinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırmada var olan durumu ortaya koymayı amaçlayan genel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Model uyarınca Bowen (1999) tarafından geliştirilen ve Azizoğlu ve Uzuntiryaki (2006) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan Kimya Laboratuarı Endişe Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamına Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Bölümünde öğrenim gören ve kimya dersi alan 94 öğrenci alınmıştır. Buna göre öğrencilerin kimya laboratuarı endişeleriyle cinsiyet, anabilim dalı, başarı (genel akademik ortalama) ve kimya dersine ilişkin görüşleri arasında fark olup olmadığına yönelik istatistiksel çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda anket yoluyla toplanan veriler SPSS paket programı yardımıyla çözümlendikten sonra genel anlamda öğretmen adaylarının kimya laboratuarına ilişkin endişelerinin olmadığı görülmüştür.

The objective of this study is to determine the concerns of the students of Elementary School Teacher of Mathematics and Science Training Departments, Faculty of Education of Eskişhir Osmangazi University over the chemistry labs. The utilized model was the general scanning that aims to suggest the existing situation in the research. According to the model, Chemistry Lab Concern Scale – developed by Bowen (1999) and adapted to Turkish by Azizoglu and Uzuntiryaki (2006) – was used in the study. 94 students attending to the Elementary School Teacher Training Program of the Faculty of Education in Osmangazi University and taking chemistry course were included in the study. Such statistical studies were performed as to whether there is a difference between the worries of students concerning the chemistry lab and their gender, departments, successes (grade point averages) and their view on the chemistry course. At the end of the research, following the analysis of the data collected through surveys by SPSS software package, it was concluded that the teaching candidates did not have any concerns over the chemistry labs in general terms.
