HAZAR GÖLÜ CANSUYU VE POMPAJ DEPOLAMALI HES PROJESİ

hold a big place in installed power of Turkey. The energy that is produced in these plants will not be consumed and energy lost will emerge because energy storage is not possible. This energy that is not stored in the form of electricity will be stored in the form of water at the time that demand is little and price is low and this water converted to electricity will be put in use at the time that demand is high. In 01 July 2006 and 12 January 2012, Bursa natural gas plant that has an installed capacity of 1210 MW broke down and electricity cuts occurred in Marmara Region because there is no any pumped storage system that will supply peak energy demand in Turkey. In this paper, a pre-feasibility study for pumped storage HEPP that Turkey has not had yet and is built to ensure security of energy supply and price equilibrium is made. The pumped storage facilities and firm energy capacity of Hazar Lake that has features like large reservoir capacity, a lot of economic benefits and ease of construction is investigated and profitability study is made

SUPPORTING HAZAR LAKE FOR LIFE WATER WITH PUMPED STORAGE HEPP

Non-storage water power plants that will be built according to the law no. 4628 and 5346 will hold a big place in installed power of Turkey.
