Bu makalede söz konusu türde beyitlerden dört başlığı ve onlardaki yaygın yanlış anlaşılmaları işlemeğe ve açık delillerle yanlışlıklarını ispat etmeye çalışılmıştır. Yine bu makale de; Hâfız’ın bir beytinde geçen “keştî nişestegân”ın “keştî şikestegân”a tercih edilme sebepleri, bu beyti şerh edenlerin ve sözlük yazarlarının görüşleriyle; “taziyân” ve “parsiyân” sözcüklerinin türetme yöntemi konusundaki görüşlerinin yanlışlığı ve o görüşün Hâfız’ın çok bilinen bir dizesinin açıklamasındaki etkisi; Hâfız divanında çok bilinen beyitlerden birinin kafiyesinin yanlış olma ihtimalinin yetersizliği konusu ele alınacaktır
