6’ya 5 mi, 10’a 1 mi?: Politik söylem çözümlemesi
Bu çalışmada politik duruşları farklı iki grup gazetenin AKP’nin kapatılma davası ve sonrası gelişen olayları gazetelerinin ilk sayfalarına nasıl aktardıkları incelenecektir. Çalışmanın teorik çerçevesi Fairclough (1992, 1995 ve 2003) çalışmalarında belirtilen eleştirel söylem çözümlemesi yöntemidir. Çalışmada özellikle uygulanan yöntem bu teorik çerçevenin Li (2009:85-121), Discourse and Society’de yayınlanan makalesinde kullandığı yöntemin aynısıdır. Gazetelerin ideolojik duruşları doğrultusunda kapatma davasını irdelerken aradaki uyuşmazlığı hangi konular aracılığıyla, kimleri uyuşmazlığa sebep ve etkilenmiş göstererek ve hangi tür yorumlarla yaptıkları incelenmiştir. Veri söylem (discourse), biçem (style) ve tür (genre) düzlemlerinde değerlendirilmiş ve politik söylemin, özellikle uyuşmazlık ortamında, yönlendirici, yargılayıcı ve yanlı olduğu kanısına varılmıştır
This study attempts to investigate the discursive strategies used to outline the political stance of newspapers of opposing ideologies. The theoretical background is drawn from Fairclough’s (1992, 1995, 2003) approach to news discourse within the framework of critical discourse analysis. The methodology used in this paper is the one used in the article by Li (2009:85-121) published in the journal Discourse and Society. The study entails the differences in the representation of the political conflict concerning the termination of the governing party AKP through discourse, style and genre analysis. What is observed is that in times of conflict, political discourse can be misleading, judgmental and biased
