Trakya At Irkında Serum Visfatin Seviyesi Üzerine Yaş, Cinsiyet, Mevsim Etkisinin İncelenmesi

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Trakya at ırkında mevsim, cinsiyet ve yaş etmenlerinin visfatin hormon seviyesine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla, 2018 yılı Şubat-Temmuz tarihleri arasında, 1-6, 6-20 yaş aralığında bulunan 20 dişi ve 20 erkek olmak üzere toplam 40 at kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu oluşturan 1-6; 6-20 yaş aralığındaki dişi ve erkek atlardaki ortalama serum visfatin hormon düzeyleri sırasıyla kış mevsimi için 23.38, 21.40 ; 26.46, 23.96 ng/ml iken yaz mevsiminde bu değerler sırasıyla 17.98, 18.68 ; 22.22, 21.32 ng/ml olarak tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, Trakya at ırkına ait atların serumlarında visfatin hormonu seviyesi üzerinde yaş, cinsiyet, mevsime bağlı olarak değiştiğini göstermiştir (p<0,05). Elde edilen sonuçlarla birlikte mevcut çalışma ilk olma özelliğine sahiptir.

Examination of the Effects of Age, Gender and Season on Serum Visfatin Levels in Trakya Horses

The aim of this study was to determine the effect on levels of the hormone visfatin on the factors of season, gender and age in Trakya horses. The study material consisted of 20 horses of different genders and ages. It was determined that the mean levels of the hormone visfatin in mare and stallions in the 1-6 and 7-20-year age groups were respectively were 23.38, 21.40; 26.46, 23.96 ng / ml in the season of winter (February), in the season of the summer (August) these levels were 17.98, 18.68; 22.22, 21.32 ng / ml. In conclusion, it was determined that the parameters of season, age and gender have an effect on serum levels of the hormone visfatin, a statistically significant difference was found (p<0.05). In addition to the results obtained, the study has the merit of being the first on this topic.
