POVEST VREMENNIH LET GEÇMİŞ YILLARIN HİKÂYESİ : TARİHTEKİ YERİ VE ÖNEMİ

Povest Vremennıh Let PVL Ortaçağ Rusları, Bizans ve Doğu Avrupa’da yaşayan farklı Türki kavimlerle ilgili en önemli metinlerden biridir. PVL bizi 10. yüzyılın ortalarından 12. yüzyılın başına kadar cereyan etmiş hadiselerden haberdar eder. PVL farklı yıllıklarda bulunur ve bulundukları yıllıkların başlangıç kısmını oluşturur. Nüshalar Nestor, Slvester ve 1118 tarihli nüsha girift ve her biri diğerinden iktibas edilen konulardan meydana gelir. Birçok tarihçi ve âlim söz konusu metinle ilgili kafa karıştırıcı bir pek çok problemi çözmeye çalışmış ve bazıları açıklığa kavuşturma konusunda başarılı da olmuştur. Birçok yanılgı ve hata barındıran PVL şüphesiz kusursuz bir metin değildir. Dolayısıyla PVL’yi bir kez daha analiz edip incelemek ve önceki tarihçi ve âlimler gibi biraz olsun mütevazı bir katkıda bulunmak bu çalışmanın amacıdır

POVEST’ VREMENNYKH LET’ TALE OF BYGONE YEARS : İTS İMPORTANCE AND PLACE İN HİSTORY

Povest’ Vremennykh Let’ PVL one of the most important text regarding medieval Russians, Byzantium and various Turkic people lived in East European steppes. PVL inform us developments that had occured from middle of the 10th to beginning of the 12th centuries. Three redactions of PVL exist in different chronicles and they composed beginning parts of them. Redactions Nestor, Slyvester and 1118 version constitute from intricate contexts and all of them excerpts form each other. Many of historians and scholars tried to clarify lots of problems of that confusing texts and some of them succeeded to elucidating. İndubitably PVL isn’t precise text; it has many delusions and mistakes. As a matter of fact, aim of this work is to analyse and scrutinise PVL ones again and to submit somewhat contribution like previous historians and scholars
