Sabit protezlerde köprü gövdesinin ağız mukozasında oluşturduğu histopatolojik ve klinik değişiklikler

Bu çalışma 30 hastaya uygulanan 34 köprü protezinde yapılmıştır. Köprü protezleri Dicle Üniversitesi Diş hekimliği Fakültesi Protetik diş tedavisi kliniğinde çıkarılmıştır. Sonuçlar değerlendirildiğinde %10 başarısızlık görülmüştür. Bu çalışmada görülen başarısızlığın en önemli nedenleri periodontal rahatsızlık ve mukoza iltihabı şeklinde olmuştur. Köprü protezlerinin ortalama kullanım süresi 4 yıl olarak belirlenmiştir. Bütün köprülerde metal akrilik maddesi kullanılmış gövde şekli eğer şeklinde yapılmıştır.

The histopathologic and clinical changes of the oral mucosa occurred with the bridge of the pontic prosthetesis

In this study 34 dental bridges constructed for 30 individuals. The bridges removed at the department of Prosthetic Dentistry University of Dicle. The results revealed that the rate of bridges failure %100 . The major reasons for failure revealed by this study were periodontal disease and mucosal inflamations. The average life span for bridges was 4 years. All of the bridges used materials metal- acrylic and used pontic design was saddle.
