Ekzema herpetikum, daha önce mevcut olan bir deri hastalığı üzerinde gelişen derinin dissemine herpes simpleks virus enfeksiyonudur. Hastalık nadiren hayatı tehdit edicidir ve sıklıkla herpes simpleks tip 1 ve 2 nedeniyle meydana gelir. Burada dört yaşında ekzema herpetikumlu bir çocuk olgu sunduk ve hastalığın klinik özellikleri, etiyolojisi ve tedavisini tartıştık.

Eczema herpeticum: a case report

Eczema herpeticum is a disseminated herpes simplex virus infection of the skin in cases with a pre-existing dermatosis. The disease is occasionally life-threatening and frequently caused by herpes simplex virus types 1 and 2. We reported here a four-year-old boy with eczema herpeticum and discussed clinical characteristics, etiology and treatment of the disease.
