İslamcı düşüncenin oluşumu ve gelişimine katkı sağlayan İslamcı dergiler, 1908’den günümüze tarih, sosyoloji, din, felsefe gibi birçok alana kaynaklık etmiştir. Dergilerdeki tema ve tartışmalar bugün bile güncelliğini korumaktadır. Dergilerde yer alan hadis merkezli metinler özelinde yapılacak çalışmalar, hem İslamcılık düşüncesinin şekillenmesi ve oluşumu hakkında bilgi verecek hem de son dönem hadis ilminin seyrini detaylı bir şekilde görme imkânı sağlayacaktır. Doç. Dr. Selim Demirci tarafından kaleme alınan İslamcı Dergilerde Hadis Tartışmaları adlı eser, dergiler özelinde son dönemin gündeminde yer alan hadis konu ve tartışmalarına dair genel bir çerçeve çizmiştir. “20. Yüzyıl Hadis Araştırmalarında Yeni Araçlar, Tartışmalar ve Dönemselleştirme, Kitaplaşan Metinler: Geçiş Döneminin Yazıları, Akademinin Muhatap Arayışı, Hadis Müdafaası: Yeniden Tarih ve Usul, Yinelenen Tartışmalara Yeni Cevaplar – Kitaplar, Kaynakların Raflarda Yer Arayışı, Heyecan ve Dinamizm: Hadis Yorumu” gibi bölümlerin yer aldığı eser, 1900 – 2000 arası dönemi hadis ilmi açısından temel zeminde incelemiştir. Eserde, İDP (İslamcı Dergiler Projesi) veri tabanının bu sahada çalışanlara geniş imkanlar sunduğuna özellikle dikkat çekilmiştir. İDP 1908’den günümüze kadar yayın yapan dergilerin dijital ortama aktarılıp kataloglaması ve erişime açılmasına katkı sağlamıştır. Eserin tanıtımı bu bağlamda yapılmıştır.

Islamist journals, which contributed to the formation and development of Islamist thought, have been a source for many fields, such as history, sociology, religion and philosophy, since 1908. The themes and discussions in the journals remain up to date even today. Studies, which will be done mainly on the hadith-centred texts in the journals, will provide information about the formation of Islamism and the opportunity to see the progress of contemporary studies on hadith in detail. The work titled Hadith Discussions in Islamist Journals, written by Assoc. Dr. Selim Demirci hasdrawn a general framework for the hadith issues and discussions, which are on the agenda of the last period in particular journals. “New Tools, Debates and Periodisation in 20th Century Hadith Studies”, “Texts in Book Form: Writings of the Transition Period”, “The Academy's Search for an Interlocutor”, “Hadith Defence: History and Procedure Again”, “New Answers to Recurring Debates-Books”, “The Search of Sources for a Place on the Shelves”, “Excitement and Dynamism: Hadith Interpretation” the work analyses the period between 1900 and 2000 on the primary grounds of the science of hadith. As a result, special attention is drawn to the fact that the IDP (Islamist Journals Project) database offers a wide range of opportunities for those who is working in this field. IDP has contributed to the digitalisation, cataloguing and accessibility of journals published from 1908 to the present. The review has been done in this context.
