TEMPOROMANDİBULAR EKLEM HASTALIKLARINDA MEDENİ HAL DURUMU

Amaç: TME rahatsızlığı tespit edilen hastalara ait, medeni halleriyle ilgili bilgiler toplanmış ve gruplama yapılmıştır. Gereç ve yöntem: TME rahatsızlığı tespit edilen hastalara ait, medeni halleriyle ilgili bilgiler toplanmış ve gruplama yapılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmamıza konu olan TME hastalığına sahip toplam 136 kişinin; 68’i kadın, 68’i erkektir. Materials and Methods: Patients who applied to our clinic with TME complaints were diagnosed according to the research diagnostic criteria for Temporomandibular Disorders (RDC / TMD) and information on their marital status was collected. The collected information is calculated with descriptive statistics. Results: Of the 136 TME patients included in our study, 68 were female and 68 were male. It was determined that 64% (87 people) of the patients were single and 36% (49 people) were married. The ratios of the surveys made in the study to all group; 34,6% (47 persons) were single women, 15,4% (21 people) were married women, 29,4% (40 people) were single men and 20,6% (28 people) were married men. Conclusion: TME has found that the psychological burden and problems of the etiology of disease are not overlooked and should be considered in the treatment approach. However, in addition to the susceptibility of female patients to TME diseases, we must also consider the loneliness stress in life.
