LATERAL PERİODONTAL KİST: VAKA RAPORU

Lateral periodental kist sekonder olarak enfekte olmadıkça sürmüş vital bir dişin lateral yüzeyi boyunca gelişen, odontojenik kisttir. Radyografide yuvarlak, oval yada gözyaşı damlası şeklinde iyi sınırlı, interradiküler radyolüsent lezyon şeklinde görülür. Çoğunlukla asemptomatiktir ve rutin radyolojik muayene sonucunda tespit edilir. Bazı vakalarda lezyonun yerleşim yerine bağlı olarak kliniklerde kullanılan panoramik ve periapikal radyografiler yeterli olmayabilir. Dental volimetrik tomografi gibi ileri görüntüleme teknikleri bu tür lezyonların tespitinde kullanılabilir.

LATERAL PERIODONTAL CYST: A CASE REPORT

Lateral periodental cyst is a odontogenic cyst which grows along lateral surface of vital tooth ıf not infected periodental cyst appears as a round ,oval or teardrop like good circumscribed interradiculer radiolucent lesion.Genarally it is asymptomatic and is determined on ortopantomograph and periapical radioghraphy is not enough to determine lesions depends on the their location.Advance imaging technics like dental volumetric tomoghraphy may be used to detection this type lesion
