Bifosfonatların, antirezorptif ilaçların ve antianjiojenik ilaçların etkisiyle çenelerde görülen osteonekrozlar tıp ve özellikle diş hekimliği alanında ciddi sorunlara yol açmaktadır. Bu ilaçları kullanan hastalarda kemik açığa çıkabilir veya mukoza bütünlüğü sağlam kalıp etkilenen kemik dokusu sağlıklı mukozanın altında olabilir. Bu derlemenin amacı MRONJ hakkında genel bilgi sağlamak; uygulanan güncel tedavi yöntemlerinin derlemesi ve daha yenilikçi bir tedavi yöntemi olan kök hücre tedavisinin incelenmesidir.
