Nwts-3 protokolü ile tedavi edilen wilms' tümörlü olguların değerlendirilmesi

Bu çalışma 1987-1994 yılları arasında tedavi edilen ve NWTS-3 (The National Wilms' Tumor Study Group) protokolü uygulanmış 28 Wilms' tümörlü olgunun retrospektif olarak incelenmesi sonucu elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesi amacı ile yapılmıştır. Tüm olgular Pediatrik Tümörler Değerlendirme Ekibi (PTDE) tarafından incelenmiştir. PTDE olguların NWTS-3'e göre sınıflamalarını yapmış ve tedavilerini planlamıştır. Olguların ortalama yaşları 4.4±2.7 olup, 15'i kız ve 13'ü erkek çocuğu idi. NWTS grup kriterlerine göre yapılan sınıflandırma sonucunda; 21 olgunun favorable histojiye ve 7 olgunun unfavorable histojiye sahip oldukları tespit edildi. NWTS-3 tedavi protokolü uygulanan bu olgulardan 10'u (%35.7) exitus olurken, üç yıllık total sağ kalım %64.2 ve iki yıllık hastalıksız yaşam %68 olarak bulundu.
