Bir edebi tür olan roman hiçbir dönemde 20 yüzyılda olduğu kadar derin bir değişime uğramadı Bugün romanın biçim ve içeriği derin değişimlere uğradığı gibi ona yükleni len işlevler ve ondan beklentiler de değişti Çünkü yeni biçim ve anlatım anlayışı yal nızca teknik bir tercih olmayıp romana yüklenilen farklı işlevler ve romandan beklenti lerle doğrudan ilişkilidir Örneğin modern roman kuramları romanı artık belirli ve her kes için geçerli bir çözümü ortaya koyan bir tür olarak görmemeye başladı Değişen yeni teknik ve felsefesiyle kaleme alınmış modern romanlar en çok roman içinde bir alt tür olan politik güdümlü romanlarda değişikliğe neden oldu Çünkü mo dern roman anlayışı temelde politik güdümlü romanların temel özelliği olan tek doğru yu ve tek gerçeği anlatma iddiası ile çelişmektedir Dolayısıyla modern roman içinde artık ideolojik güdümlü bir romandan söz etmek olanaklı değildir Çünkü geleneksel politik romanlar bilgilendirme doğrudan ’değiştirme’ çözümler sunma olguları üzerine kurulmuşlardır Bu romanların kendilerine özgü sınırları belli gerçekleri ve çözümleri vardır dolayısıyla romanlar da herkesin o gerçeği ve çözümü benimseyerek değişmesi üzerine kurulmuştur Oysa ki modern roman kesin ve tek boyutlu bir gerçekliği redde der Çağdaş dünyanın algıladığı bu yeni gerçeklik anlayışı politik ve güdümlü ideolojik romanların yazılmasına öncülük eden Marksist sanat eleştirisinde çok ciddi yorumlara yol açtı Şöyle ki o güne kadar ideolojik güdümlü romanların ancak içerik ve gelenek sel olay örgüsü ve tip’ler düzleminde belli bir iletiyi aktarabileceğine inanırken şimdi biçim öğesi de ön plana geçmeye başladı İşte bu yeni yorum sayesinde politik romanlar modern roman türü içinde hem tehlikeye giren varlığını korudu hem de roman türüne yeni bir soluk getirdi Araştırma edebiyat bilimi verileri ışığında politik güdümlü romanın yeni konumunu incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır

THE NEW POSITION OF THE POLITICAL ENGAGED NOVEL IN THE MODERN AND POST OFFICE MODERN NOVEL The art of the novel have not changed in any times as deeply as that in the 20th century during this process At first these changes seen on the plane of from and content changed not only the content of the novel but also the functions given to it and the ex pectations from it This understanding of new from and narration is not only a techni cal preference but is directly related to the different functions given to novel and the expectations from it For instance the theories of modern novel no longer regard the novel as genre which is particular and puts forward solution acceptable for every one A Work composed with the techniques and philosophy of the modern novel olt first can not assert the narration of the only truth and reality which ist the essential character istic of politic guided novel Therefore it is not possible to mention about an ideology guided novel here Because the traditional political novels are based upon the plots of giving information “changing” directly presenting solutions These novels have limits peculiar to themselves certain facts and solutions so the novels have been founded on that every one adopts these facts and solutions and change himself Whereas the mod ern novel rejects on absolute and one –dimensional reality The new understanding of reality as the modern word perceives led to very serious comments in the criticism of Marxist art which was the initiator of composition of po litical and ideology guided novels That is while it was believed that the ideology guided novels could narrate a certain message only on the plane of content and tradi tional plot and types dill then today the “form” element has begin to came to fore ground To cite and example the liberal Marxist art like Adorno Marcuse Fischer claimed that the revolutionary transformation the art would make should be looked for in the ‘innovations in forms” now and then Thanks to this new comment political novels have both preserved their existence among the types of modern novel which was at risk and presented new contributions to this novel type Key Words: Political Engaged Novel; Modern novel; Marxist art; traditional political novels
