Time dependence of pore-water pressure in an oedometer test
Bu arastırmada, bosluk suyu basınç değisimleri incelenmistir. Bu amaçla, yükleme kademelerinde bosluk suyu basınç değisimlerinin ölçülebileceği özel donanımlı bir ödometre cihazı yapılmıstır. Ölçümler, zemin numunesi içerisinde bir gerilme dalgası ve gerilme yayılımının olustuğu yapılan deneylerden anlasılmıstır. Bu özellik konsolidasyon olayının belirsiz bazı parametrelerinin hesaplanmasına olanak sağlamaktadır. Bu çalısmada gerçeklestirilen hesaplar zemin suyunun dinamik hareketi gözününde tutularak yapılmıstır.
Ödometre deneyinde boşluk suyu basıncının zamana bağımlılığı
In this investigation, the variations of pore-water pressures have been considered. For this purpose, a specially equipped oedometer has been produced to measure the pore-water changes in a loading step. Measurements gave a result that there exist a stress wave and propagation phenomenon in a soil sample. This peculiarity offers an opportunity to compute either the known parameters or other additional parameters for a consolidation test. Computations have been performed considering the dynamical approximation to the soil water behavior.
