Behçet hastalığında vena cava süperior sendromu: olgu sunumu

Vaskülitler damar yapılarındaki inflamasyonla karakterize bir hastalık grubudur. Küçük, orta, büyük ve değişken damar vaskülitleri şeklinde gruplara ayrılır. Behçet hastalığı değişken damar vaskülitleri grubunda olup tüm damarları tutabilir. Behçet hastalığı vena cava süperior sendromuna sebep olabilir. Genetik ve çevresel faktörlerin etkili olduğu düşünülmektedir ama etiyolojisi tam bilinmemektedir. HLA-B51 ile yakından ilişkilidir. Genelde genç erişkin yaşlarda ve erkek cinsiyette daha sık görülmektedir. Bu makalede Behçet hastalığı tanılı 20 yaşında erkek hasta sunulmuştur.

Superior vena cava syndrome in Behçet’s disease: case report

Vasculitis is a group of diseases characterized by inflammation in vascular structures. They are divided into small, medium, large and variable vasculitides. Behçet's disease is in the variable vasculitis group and can involve all vessels. Behçet's disease may cause superior vena cava syndrome. Genetic and environmental factors are thought to be effective, but the etiology is not known. It is closely associated with HLA-B51. It is more common in young adults and male gender. In this article, a 20-year-old male patient with Behçet's disease is presented.
