OVER TORSİYONLARINDA NÖTROFİL/LENFOSİT ORANININ TANISAL DEĞERİ
Amaç: Over torsiyonu nadir görülen ancak ciddi sonuçlara yol açabilecek jinekolojik acillerdenbirisidir. Over torsiyonu tanısında inflamasyon markırları ve görüntüleme yöntemleri sıklıkla kullanılmasına rağmen akut batın yapan diğer acillerden nonspesifik karın bulguları nedeniyle ayrımıoldukça zordur. Biz bu çalışmada over torsiyonunda nötrofil-lenfosit oranının (NLR) tanısal değerini araştırdık.
Diagnostic Value of Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio in Over Torsion
Purpose: Ovary torsion is one of the gynecologic emergencies which is rare but has a potential of serious complications. Although inflammation markers and imaging methods are commonly used in the diagnosis of ovary torsion, its differentiation from other causes of acute abdomen is quite difficult because of the nonspecific abdominal signs. In our study, we investigated the diagnostic value of neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in over torsion. Materials and Methods: A total of 60 patients were included in this retrospectively planned study. Patients were equally divided into three groups: Group 1 (follicule cyst group), Group 2 (simple cyst group), Group 3 (ovary torsion group). Patient groups were compared according to demographic characteristics and laboratory parameters. Results: The mean age of group 3 was significantly lower than group 1 (p=0,012). The WBC and NLR ratios were significantly higher in group 3 when compared to other groups (p
