Tek Silindirli Dizel Bir Motorun Performans ve Emisyonları Üzerinde Biodizel Karışımlı Yakıtların Etkisinin Deneysel ve Sayısal İncelenmesi

Bu çalışmada, direkt enjeksiyonlu dizel bir motorda belirli oranlarda kullanılan kanola yağı metil ester/motorinkarışımlı yakıtların motor performans, emisyon ve yanma parametreleri deneysel olarak araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca,çalışmada kullanılan yakıtların motor üzerindeki etkisi sayısal olarak da incelenmiştir. Sayısal çalışma AVL-FIREyazılımının ESE-Diesel kısmında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneysel çalışmada kullanılan motor ve farklı yakıtlarsayısal olarak modellenmiştir. Motor karakteristik özelliklerinin incelendiği deneysel çalışmada, biodizel karışımlıyakıtlar motor performansını çok az da olsa düşürmüştür. Aynı zamanda biodizel karışımlı yakıtlar motorda COve HC gibi emisyonların azalmasına neden olmuştur. Hem deneysel hem de sayısal yanma analizlerinebakıldığında, biodizel/motorin karışımlı yakıtların silindir içi maksimum basınçların ve ısı salınımlarınınartmasına neden olduğu görülmektedir. Ek olarak bu çalışmada, AVL-FIRE yazılımında yanma odası içerisindekiCO oluşumu farklı krank açılarında incelenmiştir.

Experimental and Numerical Investigation of Biodiesel Mixed Fuels Effect on Performance and Emissions of Single Cylinder Diesel Engine

In this study, the engine performance, emission and combustion parameters of canola oil methyl ester/diesel mixed fuels used certain proportions indirect injection the diesel engine has been investigated experimentally. In addition, the effect on the engine of the fuels used in the study has been examined numerically. The numerical study was performed in ESE-Diesel part of AVL-FIRE software. The engine and different fuels used in the experimental study were modeled numerically. In the experimental study examining the engine characteristics, biodiesel mixed fuels have slightly reduced engine performance. However, these fuels have led to reduced engine emissions such as CO and HC. When looking at both the experimental and numerical combustion analyzes, It is seen that biodiesel/diesel mixed fuels led to increase of the cylinder maximum pressures and heat releases. In addition, in the AVL-FIRE software, CO formation in the combustion chamber was examined at different crank angles.
