Sülfür minerallerinin özyapısal özellikleri ile flotasyonları arasındaki olası ilişkiler tartışıldı. Yarı iletken özellikleri nedeni ile sülfür flotasyonunda elektrokimyasal tepkimelerin rolü değerlendirildi. Gerek cevher yatağında, gerekse cevherin zenginleştirilmesi sırasında oluşabilecek galvanik etkileşimin mekanizması açıklanarak flotasyonu nasıl etkileyebileceği örneklerle irdelendi.

The Possible relations between the characteristic properties of sulphide minerals and their flotation have been discussed. The role of electrochemical reactions due to their semi-conducting properties have been evaluated. The mechanism of the Galvanic effects which can occur during the processing of these minerals, as well as within their ore bodies have been explained and how it might affect the flotation has been examined with exam­ples
