Bu yazıda, bilgisayarlarla ilgili temel kavramlar açıklanmakta ve mikrobilgisayarlar ağırlıkta olmak üzere madencilik sektöründeki bilgisayar kullanımı geçmiş­ ten geleceğe belli bir perspektif içinde irdelenmektedir.

In this paper, basic concepts related with computers are explained and the historical usage of computers in the mining industry and the future perspectives are discussed with the special emphasis being on the microcomputers.
