EVLİ BİREYLERİN EVLİLİK KALİTESİ, FİNANSAL REFAH VE ÖZNEL REFAHLARI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Bu çalışma, evli bireylerin evlilik kaliteleri, finansal refahları ve öznel refahları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amacıyla planlanmış ve yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın evrenini Türkiye’nin farklı illerinde yaşayan, farklı sosyo-ekonomik düzeye sahip 18 yaş ve üzeri evli bireyler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise kartopu örnekleme yöntemiyle ulaşılan ve Google formlar aracılığıyla hazırlanan ankete çevrim içi katılmayı kabul eden 504 (%54.4 kadın, %45.6 erkek) evli bireydir. Çalışmaya katılan bireylere sosyal medya platformları (Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook vb.) aracılığıyla ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmanın araştırma formunda, bireylerin sosyo-demografik özelliklerini ölçmeye yönelik soruların yanı sıra, Gürel ve Çopur (2016) tarafından geliştirilen “Evlilik Kalitesi Ölçeği”, Lui ve Fernando (2018) tarafından geliştirilen “Öznel Refah Ölçeği” ve Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (2015) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan “Finansal Refah Ölçeği” yer almaktadır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre evli bireylerin evlilik kalitesi ile öznel refah ve finansal refah düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur.

EXAMINATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MARITAL QUALITY, FINANCIAL WELL-BEING, AND SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING OF MARRIED INDIVIDUALS

This study was planned and conducted to examine the relationship between marital quality, financial well-being, and the subjective well-being of married individuals. The population of the study consists of married individuals aged 18 and over, living in different provinces of Turkey with various socioeconomic status. On the other hand, the sample of the study consists of 504 married individuals (54.4% female, 45.6% male), which were reached by the snowball sampling method, and agreed to participate in the online questionnaire prepared through Google forms. The participants were contacted through social media platforms (Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook, etc.). Also, the research form of the study not only includes questions to measure the socio-demographic characteristics of individuals but also the "Marital Quality Scale" developed by Gürel and Çopur (2016), the "Well-Being Scale" developed by Lui and Fernando (2018), and the “Financial Well-Being Scale” developed by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (2015). According to the results of the study a positive significant relationship was found between the marital quality of married individuals and their subjective well-being and financial well-being.
