Cytospora chrysosperma "Pers" Fr. İle In-Vitro Koşullarında Morfolojik Özelliklerinin ve En Uygun İnokulasyon Yönteminin Belirlenmesi
Cytospora chrysosperma “Pers” Fr.’nın PDA (Patates dekstroz-Agar) besi ortamında 24 ±1ºC’de ve %80 orantılı
Determination of Morphological Features and the Best Inocculation Method of Cytospora chrysosperma “Pers” Fr. at In-vitro Conditions
It was determined that Cytospora chrysosperma “Pers” Fr. developed best at PDA (Potato Dextrose Agar)nourishment media and at 24±1°C and 80% relative humidity conditions. Development rate of the pathogen wasfound to be 14 mm/day and under these conditions, pycnidia production occurred 3 days after incubation andspores secreted from these pycnidia after 24 days after incubation. It was also determined that the disease agentproduces multioccular form pycnidia on infected poplar barks and yellowish-pink or dark red coloreddeterministic spores were secreted from these pycnidia. The disease agent may produce various virulenceisolates depending on climatic conditions. It was determined that the isolate 25 (Ankara-Kırıkkale isolate) wasthe most virulent isolate in the study area. It was once more determined that the disease agent to be a pathogen ofpoplars and willows were found to be hosts of the disease.
