Good news from the Western Balkans seems to finally become the order of the day. In the begging of 1990's, the term ''Balkanization'' became an metaphoric expression, epitomizing the eruption of ethnic conflicts and bloody wars in the Former Yugoslavia. With the independence of Kosovo, proclaimed in February 17th 2008, the last chapter of the violent dissolution of the Former Yugoslavia came to its natural conclusion.
