Ağır metale maruz kalan çalışanların idrarlarındaki krom değerlerinin ICP-MS ile belirlenmesi ve analitik değerlendirmesi

Determination and analytical evaluation of chromium level in urines of workers that exposure the heavy metal using ICP-MS

Some heavy metals lead serious health problems to man due to high toxicity. This study aimed to analysis and assessment chromium concentrations in urine of laboratory workers working at the intensive waste water. As a part of this study, urine samples were taken, at the end of the shift, from laboratory workers (n=6, age range 24 to 33) that exposed the heavy metals. Chromium concentrations (ngL-1andµgL-1) were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The analytical performance of the device was evaluated and their results have been given as ng L-1. Consequently, it was observed that, in the course of time, the chromium concentrations in the urine samples exceeded the limit values declared by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR)
