Buzağıların Preruminant Dönemde Beslenmesinin Ön Midelerin Gelişimine Etkisi

Preruminant olarak doğan buzağıların ön midelerinin anatomik, fizyolojik ve mikrobiyel gelişiminin bir an önce sağlanması başarılı, ekonomik ve yaşamlarının ileri dönemlerinde daha verimli olabilmeleri için çok önemlidir. Buzağıların ön midelerinin postnatal dönem gelişiminde sıvı (süt, süt ikame yemi, yağsız süt, kolostrum) ve katı yemler (konsantre ve kaba yemler) ile bazı yem katkı maddeleri (probiyotik, prebiyotik, esansiyel yağlar, enzim) etkili olmaktadır. Sıvı yemlerin rumen gelişimi üzerinde etkisi sınırlı kalmaktadır. Rumen papillalarının uzamasında ve genişlemesinde konsantre yemler, rumenin kassel, duvar kalınlığı ve hacimsel gelişiminde kaba yemler daha etkili olmaktadır. Buzağı rasyonlarına probiyotik, prebiyotik, esansiyel yağlar ve enzim ilave edilmesi sindirim sistemi ortamını ve besin maddelerinin sindirimini iyileştirerek ön mide gelişiminde olumlu etkiler oluşturmaktadır. Buzağılarda fonksiyonel bir rumen gelişiminin teşvik edilmesi amacıyla sıvı yemlerle birlikte, erken yaşlardan itibaren katı yemleri ve yem katkı maddelerinin verilmesi yararlı olmaktadır.
