Fındıkta (Coryllus avellana L.) yaygın bir virüs: Elma mozayik virüsü (Apple mosaic virus; ApMV)

Dünya'nın fındık üretimi için gerekli uygun hava kosullarına sahip bir kaç ülkesinden biri olan Türkiye, toplam Dünya üretiminin %75'ini gerçeklestirmektedir. Zararlı böcekler ve hastalıklar bütün dünyada fındık üretimini tehdit eden unsurların basında gelmektedir. Fındıkta hastalık olusturan en önemli patojenlerden birisi Elma mozayik virüsü (Apple mosaic virus; ApMV)’dür. ApMV enfeksiyonu, İtalya, Fransa, İspanya, Polonya, İngiltere, A.B.D. ve Türkiye gibi birçok ülkede fındık üretim alanlarında tespit edilmistir. Bu derlemede, Elma mozayik virüsü (ApMV)’nün morfolojik özellikleri, dogal konukçuları, simptomları, tasınma durumları, cografi dagılımı ve kontrol yöntemleri kısaca özetlenmistir.

A common virus on hazelnut (Corylus avellana L.): Apple mosaic virus (ApMV)

Turkey, which is one of the few countries in the world with favourable weather conditions for hazelnut production, accounts 75% of the global production. Insects, mite pests and diseases are major constraints to production of hazelnuts throughout the world. Apple mosaic virus (ApMV) is one of the most important pathogens on hazelnut. ApMV infection in hazelnut has been reported in many countries, such as in Italy, France, Spain, Poland, the UK, the USA and Turkey. In this review, Morphology, natural host range, symptoms, means of movement and dispersal, geographical distribution, control of Apple mosaic virus (ApMV) were summarized briefly.
