EFFECTS OF Trichoderma harzianum APPLIED AT DIFFERENT DOSE AND DURATIONS ON ROOTING OF RAMSEY ROOTSTOCK CUTTINGS
Trichoderma origin compounds have antifungal properties and allow plants to grow in up soil organs and in the roots. This study was performed at research area of Namık Kemal University, Agriculture Faculty, Department of Horticulture in 2013 year. The effects of Trichoderma harzianum applied at different dose (0, 0.5, 1, 2 and 4 g/L) and durations (1, 6 and 12 hour) on shoot and root properties of Ramsey rootstock cuttings were investigated in experiment. As a result of the study, it was determined that applications of Trichoderma harzianum at increasing doses and durations positively affect the shoot and root properties of cuttings. Consequently, applications of 4 g/L dose of Trichoderma harzianum for 6 to 12 hours gave the best result in rooting of Ramsey rootstock cuttings.
