Ixiolirion (Ixioliriaceae) Cinsi Üzerine Nomenklatürel Bir Çalışma

Ixiolirion Fisch. ex Herb. cinsi birkaç türden oluşmasına rağmen, cinsin ve içerisindeki taksonların taksonomik durumu her zaman tartışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Amaryllis tatarica Pall. (≡Ixiolirion tataricum (Pall.) Schult. & Schult.f.) için bir lektotip belirlenmiştir. Ixiolirion tataricum tür altı taksonu bulunmaksızın tür seviyesinde monotipik bir takson olarak tanınmıştır. Kolpakowskia ixiolirioides Regel türünün Ixiolirion cinsine taşındığında varyete düzeyinde (I. tataricum var. ixiolirioides (Regel) X.H. Qian) değil, tür seviyesinde Ixiolirion ixiolirioides (Regel) Dandy olarak tanınmasının daha uygun olacağına karar verilmiştir. Cinsin familya adının kaynaklarda farklı yazılışı üzerine bir değerlendirmede bulunulmuştur. Pfeiffer (1874) tarafından I. montanum olarak belirlenen cinsin tip türü teyit edilmiştir.

A Nomenclatural Study On The Genus Ixiolirion (Ixioliriaceae)

Although Ixiolirion (Köpekotu) is composed of a few species, taxonomic positions of the genus and its species have always been problematic. In this study, a lectotype is designated for Amaryllis tatarica Pall. [≡Ixiolirion tataricum (Pall.) Schult. & Schult.f.]. I. tataricum is accepted as a monotypic taxon at the species level without any infraspecific taxa. It was decided that if Kolpakowskia ixiolirioides Regel is accepted within the genus Ixiolirion, it would be more appropriate to recognize it at the species level as I. ixiolirioides (Regel) Dandy, not at the varietal level (as I. tataricum var. ixiolirioides (Regel) X.H. Qian). An assessment was made on the different spellings of the genus' family name in the literature. The type species of the genus, which was designated as I. montanum by Pfeiffer (1874) was confirmed.
