Büyük Vatan Savaşı Rus halkının geçirdiği en zor süreçlerden biridir. Rus halkı Nazi-Almanlarına ve Faşizm’e karşı verdikleri bu savaşı yalnızca siperlerde değil, ruhlarının derinliklerinde yaşamışlardır. Yıkıntısı hala hafızalarda yer tutan bu süreç, pek çok edebi yapıtın başlıca konusu olmuştur.
