Bosna Hersek Örneğinde Yabancı Dil Olarak Türkçe Öğrenen Çocukların Dinleme Alışkanlıkları

Yabancı dil olarak Türkçenin öğretimi faaliyetleri ülke sınırlarını aşarak yurtdışındaki pek çok ülkede etkin bir biçimde devam etmektedir. Bu ülkelerden biri de Balkan coğrafyası dendiğinde ilk akla gelen ülkelerden biri olan Bosna Hersek'tir. İlkokul, lise ve üniversite kademesinde ülke genelinde Türkçe, yabancı dil olarak öğretilmektedir. Türkçenin öğretiminde ilk aşama dinlemedir. Dinleme, diğer dil becerilerinin gelişimi için ön koşuldur, denilebilir. Bu nedenle hedef dil öğrencilerinin dinleme alışkanlıklarının bilinmesi gerekir. Bu çalışmada ilkokul düzeyinde Türkçe öğrenen çocukların dinleme alışkanlıklarını belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel ve nicel araştırmanın sunduğu imkânlar kullanılmıştır. Sonuçta çocukların hedef dile yönelik bir dinleme alışkanlığı geliştiremedikleri bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır

The Listening Habits of Children Learning Turkish as a Foreign Language: An Example from Bosnia and Herzegovina

The activities of teaching Turkish as a foreign language have exceeded the national boundaries and are now performed in many countries. One of these countries is Bosnia and Herzegovina, the first country that comes to mind in the Balkans. Turkish is taught as a foreign language in primary schools, high schools and universities across the country. The first stage in Turkish language teaching is listening. Listening is a prerequisite for the development of other linguistic skills. Therefore, the listening habits of the learners of the target language should be known. The aim of this study is to determine the listening habits of children learning Turkish at the primary school level. The study used a qualitative and quantitative research design and found that the children were not able to develop listening habits for the target language
