Nasolabial Cyst: Management of a Maxillofacial Soft Tissue Lesion
Nasolabial Cyst: Management of a Maxillofacial Soft Tissue Lesion
Abstract: Nasolabial cysts are rare non-odontogenic soft tissue cysts that occur in the upper lip and nasal vestibulum. It has been suggested that these cysts develop from the epithelium of nasolacrimal duct. It represents itself as anexpansion in the soft tissue causing esthetic problems in the maxillofacial region as well as nasal obstruction in rarecases. In this case study, we present the diagnosis and the surgical treatment of a nasolabial cyst with an intraoralapproach.
