ÖZET : Bu çalışma, toprağa H202 muamelesinin toprağın dane büyüklükdağılımı ve tekstür sınıfı üzerine etkilerini ve bu konuda Day ve Bouyoucoshidrometre yöntemlerini mukayese etmek amacıyla yürütülmüştür.Araştırmada, Erzurum yöresinden alınan 10 adet yüzey (0-20 cm) toprağıkullanılmıştır.Topraklarda kil içeriğinin artması ve süt içeriğinin azalması üzerine H202muamelesinin etkisi Bouyoucos hidrometre yöntemine göre Day hidrometreyönteminde daha etkin olmuştur.Hidrojen peroksit muamelesi, toprağın içerdiği organik madde miktarına bağlıolarak, bazı toprak örneklerinin tekstür sınıflarının değişmesine sebep olmuştur.Day ve Bouyoucos hidrometre yöntemlerinde, toprak organik madde miktarıile H2O2 muamelesiz ve muameleli olarak tespit edilen kil miktarları farkı arasındakiilişki önemli bulunmuştur. Söz konusu yöntemler arasında da önemli seviyede farktespit edilmiştir.EFFECT OF H2O2 TREATMENT TO SOİL ON THE PARTICLESİZE DISTRIBUTION AT THE DAY AND BOUYOUCOSHYDROMETER METHODSSUMMARY : The subject of this study were to determine the effect of the H2Ö2 treatment to soil on the particle size distribution and the textural class, and to compare Day and Bouyoucos hydrometer methods.în this research, ten surface (10-20 cm) soil samples taken from the Erzurum district vvere used. Ejfeci of H2O2 treatment was more obvious at the Day hydrometer methodthan Bouyoucos hydrometer method, on increase the clay anddecrease the silt contentin the soil samples.Hydrogen peroxide treatment caused altering textural class of some soil samples depend upon organic matter content of soil.İt wasfound significant relation between the organic matter content and clay content different of soil samples untreaed and treated with U2O2 both Day and Bouyoucos hydrometer methods, also significant dıference among these methods.
