Harran Ovası şartlarında denenipyüksek verimli olduğu saptanan 8 yerfıstığı çeşidinin tohum ve yağları bileşim açısından araştırılmıştır. Yerfıstığı tohumunda bin tane ağırlığı 520.56-784. 1 6 g, su 965.23-5.84. ham jrağ %54.48-60.95, ham protein 9627.83-32.67, kül 96 l .67-2.31 arasında değişmiştir. Yerfıstığı jrağının nispi yoğunluğu 0.913-0.917, kırılma indisi 1.4556- 1.4652, serbest jrağ asitleri 960.32-1.07, peroksit sayısı 1.88-2.75 meo,O2/kg, iyot sayısı 84.75' 1 00.79. sabunlaşma sayısı 187.99-192.77, sabunlaşmadan madde 960.26- U O arasında saptanmıştır. Yerfıstığında 969.94-11.49 palmitik. 9637.28-49.77 oleik, 9631.54-42.56 linoleik 963.07-7.22 araşidik asit bulunmuştur.

8 seeds peanut cultivar experienced in Harran Plain were evaulated for seed and seed oil composition. It was determined that weight of thousand seeds, moisture, crude oil, crude protein and ash of seed were between 520.56-784.16 g, 5.23-5,84%, 54.48-60.9596, 27.83-32.6796, 1.67-2.3196 respectively. Relative density, refractive index, free fatty acids, peroxide value, iodine value, saponification value and unsaponifiables were determined in the seed oils as 0.913-0.917, 1.4556-1.4652, 0.32-1.0796, 1.88-2.75 meq, O2/kg, 84.75-100.79, 187.99-192.77. 0.26-1.10 (96) respectively. 9.94-1 1.4996 palmitic. 37.28-49.7796 oleic, 31.54-42.5696 linoleic and 3.07-7.2296 arachidic in the peanut oil were identified as main fatty acids.
