Alt gastrointestinal sistem endoskopi sonuçlarımız

On bir yıllık bir süre içerisinde 2103 hastaya alt gastrointestinal sistem endoskopisi yapıldı. Hastaların 213'ünde (%10.1) çekum, 317'sinde (%15) hepatik fleksura, 746'sında (%35.6) splenik fleksura ve 827'sinde (%39.3) inen kolona kadar inceleme yapıldı, Hastaların 814'ünde (%38.8) herhangi bir patolojik bulguya rastlanmazken, 228'inde (%10.8) kolit, 296'sında (%14) kanser, 130'unda (%6.2) polip, 12'sinde (%0.6) divertikülozis, 370'inde (%17.6) hemoroid, 34'ünde (%1.6) perianal fistül, 172'sinde (%8.2) anal fissür ve 47:sinde (%2.2) proktit saptandı. Morbiditesi düşük olan endoskopi özellikle semptomatik hastalarda malignite ihtimali göz önüne alınarak uygulanması gereken bir tanı yöntemidir.

Low gastrointestinal endoscopy; An instutional results

In an 11-year period 2103 patients were undergone endoscopic examination of the distal gastrointestinal tract. Endoscopic examination included cecum, hepatic flexura, splenik flexura, and distal end of the descending colon in 213(10.1%), 317(15%), 746(35.6%), and 827(39.3%) patients respectively. Of the patients, 814(38.8%) showed normal endoscopic appearance, whereas 228 (10.8%) had colitis, 296 (14%) colorectal cancer, 130 (6.2%) had polyp, 12 (0.6%) had diverticulozis, 370 (17.6%) had hemorrhoid, 34 (1.6%) had perianal fistula, 172 (8.2%) had fissura in ano, and 47 (2.2%) had proctitis. Because of the possibility of colorectal cancer the symptomatic patients should undergo endoscopic examination.
