Planned and Applıed Selectıve Method in Teachıng Arabıc Language to Non-Natıve Speakers (Oral Lessons at Gumushane Unıversıty, Faculty of Theology Sample)

If teachers' success of non-native speakers of Arabic is based upon their effective selection of an appropriate method in their teaching process, they should not restrict themselves to a certain method, but they should select a method that are suitable for their learner's needs and their teaching settings. This is supposed that teachers tend to employ the so-called selective method in teaching pedagogy; a method which is grounded on integrating all teaching methods of foreign languages. This research aims to define the selective method, its emergence reasons, its characteristics and validity for teaching Arabic for non-native speakers. It also demonstrates the deployment of this method in conversation skills at Faculty of Theology, Gumushane University in Turkey; and the most considerable advantages which teachers gain by applying this method. Moreover, it states the most significant results the research presents.
