Why was Kadro Review Closed?

Kadro magazine which was published in the leadership of Şevket Süreyya, Vedat Nedim, Yakup Kadri, İsmail Hüsrev and Burhan Asaf constitutes the first and the most important chain of Kemalism and etatism. Kadro members found the opportunity to explain their thoughts for three years, from the beginning of 1932 until the early 1935, through the publication organ named "Kadro". The most strict reaction came from Republican People's Party against Kadro Movement who appeared out of RPP and undertook the to systematically develop "the ideology of revolution" called "Kemalism" on which the current power was based on. Moreover, the leading directors of İş Bank considered as the most important representtatives of capital market and liberal-demokrat intellectuals opposed to Kadro members. It is certain that their attempts towards RPP and especially Atatürk weakened Kadro movement.
