Antimikrobiyal Peptidler ve Tıpta Kullanım Alanları

Bakterilerin antibiyotiklere karşı gosterdiği direncin durdurulamaz boyuta gelmesinden sonra bakterilere karşı yeni nesilbir cozum arayışına gidilmiştir. Bu cozum arayışında antimikrobiyal peptitlerle yapılan calışmalarda umut verici sonuclaralınmıştır. Daha arzu edilen sonuçlara ulaşılamasa da, direncli bakteriler karşısında antimikrobiyal peptitlerle istenilenetkilere ulaşılması umulmaktadır. Bu peptitler yediğimiz bircok gıdada doğal gıda koruyucusu olarak cok yaygınkullanılmasından antimikrobiyal kumaş geliştirilmesine kadar geniş bir alanda kullanılmaktadır. Şimdiden kanser dahilbircok hastalığa deva olabileceği klinik araştırmalarla ortaya konulmuştur.

Antimicrobial Peptides and Their Medical Applications

Because resistance of bacteria against antibiotics has reached an unstoppable dimension, a new generation solution has been searched against bacteria. In the search for this solution, promising results have been obtained in studies with antimicrobial peptites. Although desired endpoint has not been reached yet, beneficial results with antimicrobial peptites against resistant bacteria is hoped to be achived. These peptites are widely used in different areas, from natural food preservatives in foods we eat to antimicrobial fabric development. It has already been demonstrated by clinical research that it can cure many diseases, including cancer
