Çeşme Müzesi Ticari Amphoraları

Çeşme Müzesi ticari amphora koleksiyonu, az miktarda fakat Çeşme Yarımadası için önemli amphoratiplerini içerir. Bu amphoralar arasında, Arkaik Klasik ve Hellenistik dönemlere tarihlenebilen örnek- ler, Çeşme Yarımadasının erken dönem deniz ticaretindeki potansiyelini göstermesi açısından önemlidir.Amphora koleksiyonunda yer alan 12 örnek, Arkaik, Klasik ve Hellenistik dönemlere aittir.

TRADE AMPHORAS from ÇEŞME MUSEUM

Trade amphora collection of Çeşme Museum contains not only small amount but also important amphoratypes for Cesme Peninsula. Some examples dated to the Archaic, Classic and Hellenistic periods areimportant to show the potential of early maritime trade of Cesme Peninsula. In this collection, six of thetwelve examples are belong to Archaic, Classical and Hellenistic periods.
