Bu makalede topikal antibiyotik kullanımının gerekli olup olmadığı tartışılmıştır. Özellikle yara ve cerrahi alan infeksiyonlarındaki lokal antibiyotik kullanımına değinilmiştir. Literatür bilgileri ışığında hangi durumlarda lokal antibiyotik kullanımının gerekli, hangi durumlarda gereksiz olduğu değerlendirilmiştir.

Is there any necessity for the usage of topical Antibiotics ?

In this review, the necessity of the usage of topical antibiotics is discussed. Especially the usage of topical antibiotics is mentioned in wound and surgical field infections. In the light of previous studies, the conditions of the necessity of topical antibiotics are evaluated.
