Ankara'daki ilkokul 2. ve 4. sınıf öğrencilerinde gelişimsel disleksi oranı

Gelişimsel disleksi gelişmiş ülkelerde oldukça sık görülen (okul çağı çocuklarının %3-16'sı) ve iyi bilinen bir tablodur. Gelişimsel disleksinin ülkemizdeki oranının "öğretmen anketi" yöntemiyle saptanmasına yönelik bu ön çalışmada, saf gelişimsel disleksinin ilkokul 2. sınıflarda %2.1, 4. sınıflarda %0.6 oranında olduğu saptanmıştır. Son derece düşük olan bu oran Türk dilinin yazıldığı gibi okunması ve hem "harf-harf birleştirme", hem de "bütünü okuma" yöntemleriyle okunabilmesinden kaynaklanıyor olabilir. Daha sağlıklı bilgiler için Türkçe'ye özgü bir "okuma başarısı testi"ne gereksinim vardır.
