Özgür irade konusunda liberteryan bakış açısını benimseyenler, Alternatif İmkanlılıklar İlkesinin doğru olduğunu düşünmekte, „Frankfurtçu Liberteryanlar‟ olarak adlandırılan belirli bir sayıdaki liberteryan ise bu ilkeyi özgür irade için zorunlu bir şart olarak görmemektedir. Most libertarians think that some version of the Principle of Alternative Possibilities is true. A number of libertarians, which I call „Frankfurt-libertarians,‟ think that they need not embrace any version of Principle of Alternative Possibilities. In this paper, I examine the writings of one such Frankfurt-libertarian, for her evaluation of the impact of Frankfurt-style counterexamples on the Principle of Alternative Possibilities. I will also try to show how free will cannot be defended without the Principle of Alternative Possibilities and claim that divine timelessness and Frankfurt-libertarianism are not viable options for theism.
