Bu çalışmada, 2. konumda p-sübstitüefenil grubu taşıyan oksazolo (4,5-b) piridin türevleri sentezlenmiştir. Bu bileşiklerin sentezleri, 2-amino-3-hidroksipiridin ve ilgili karboksilik asitlerin, polifosforik asit varlığında ısıtılması ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu şekilde hazırlanan 9 bileşikten, 6 adeti ilk kez bu çalışmada sentez edilmiştir. Elde edilen bileşiklerin saflıkları, İ.T.K. ile kontrol edildikten sonra, erime dereceleri saptanmış v e yapıları UV , IR , NM R v e Elementel Analiz metodları ile açıklanmıştır.

In this research, a numbe r of 2-(p-substitutedphenyl) oxazolo (4,5-b) pyridine derivatives were prepared. These compound s were synthesized by condensing 2-amino-3-hydroxypyridine with carboxylic acids in the presence of plyphosphoric acid. 9 compound s were prepared and 6 of them were synthesized for the first time in this research. T h e purity of the compound s were controlled by TL C and the melting points were determined. Chemica l structures of these com - pounds were elucidated b y using UV , IR , NM R and Elemental Analysis methods.
