Bu çalışma, ebeveynleri boşanma sürecinde olan ilköğretim birinci kademedeki çocuklar ile ebeveynleriyle birlikte yaşayan çocukların duygularının cinsiyete göre incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya Ankara 9. Aile Mahkemesinde boşanma/velayet davaları devam eden, boşanma sürecinde olan ailelerin yedi on bir yaş grubundaki 40 çocuğu ile aynı yaşta anne babası ile birlikte yaşayan 40 çocuk olmak üzere toplam 80 çocuk dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmada, “Aile Bilgi Formu” ve “Çocuk Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Çocukların duygularında boşanma sürecinde olma durumunun ve cinsiyetin etkili olup olmadığı Ki Kare Analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda; ebeveynleri boşanma sürecinde olan çocukların baba ile görüşme durumunun cinsiyete göre değiştiği, çocukları mutlu eden ve üzen davranışların, mutlu olduğunda çocuğun gösterdiği davranışların ailenin boşanma sürecinde olup olmamasından etkilendiği, ailesi boşanma sürecinde olan çocukların kendilerini mutlu eden davranışı paylaştıkları kişinin cinsiyetten etkilendiği, anne babası ile birlikte yaşayan çocukların ise kendilerini en çok üzen davranışın cinsiyete göre farklılaştığı belirlenmişti

This study is carried on to examine the emotions of the children at the age of primary school whose parents are in the divorce process and whose parents live together.The sample of the study has been drawn from 80 children whose process have been continuing divorce/custody cases at ninth family court in Ankara, 40 children between the ages of 7-11 whose family are in divorce process and 40 same age children who live with their family. “Children Information Form” and “Family Information Form” has been used in the study. It has been evaluated with the Chi Square analysis if the process of divorce and gender effects the emotions of the children. As a result of this study, it has been determined that the state of meeting with the father differs according to the gender of the children, whose family is in the process of divorce. It is also concluded that the behaviors that pleases the child, and his/her reactions to these behaviors are influenced from the state of family in terms of divorce. It is recognized that the children, whose family is in the process of divorce, is affected from the gender of the person with whom they share the behavior which makes them happy. On the other hand, it has been determined that the behaviors which upset the children, whose parents live together, differ in accordance with gender
