Özet: Hipertansiyon sistolik kan basıncının 140 mm Hg, ve/veya diyastolik kan basıncının 90 mm Hg’nın üzerinde olmasıyla giden hastalıktır. Dünya’da en önde gelen ölüm nedenidir. Yüksek prevelansı nedeniyle birinci basamakta en sık karşılaşılan hastalıklardandır.

AN EVIDENCE BASED GUIDELINE FOR HYPERTENSION IN PRIMARY CARE

Hypertension is a disorder defined as systolic blood pressure greater than 140 mm Hg and/or diastolic blood pressure greater than 90 mm Hg. It is the leading death causeworldwide. Hypertension is one of the most commonly encountered diseases in primary care, according to the highprevalence rates.
