Can Using Only A Single Transdermal Fentanyl Patch Be Fatal?

Fentanil potent ve kısa etkili narkotik analjezik olma özelliğinden dolayı akut ve kronik ağrı tedavisinde kullanımı yaygınlaşmıştır. Transdermal fentanil üretildiğinden itibaren kronik ağrı tedavisinde yaygın olarak kullanılmıştır. Transdermal fentanil kullanımına bağlı yan etkiler diğer opioidlere bağlı gelişen yan etkilerle benzerdir. Biz bu yazımızda bel ağrısı şikayeti ile tek doz fentanyl yama kullanımı sonrasında opiyat toksisitesi gelişen 80 yaşındaki olguyu sunmak istedik

Tek Doz Fentanil Yama Kullanımı Ölümcül Olabilir Mi?

Fentanyl is a potent and short-acting narcotic analgesic which is used in the treatment of acute and chronic pain. Transdermal fentanyl have been widely used in the treatment of cronic pain. The side effects of transdermal fentanyl are similar to other opioids side effects. In this report we presented an 80 years old patient with lumbago who developed opiate toxicity after using one dose of fentanyl patch.
