ENÜREZİS NOKTURNALI HASTALARIN ve ANNELERİNİN KAYGI ve ÖFKE DURUMLARININ DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Amaç: Primer enürezis nokturna tanısı alan çocukların kaygı durumlarının ve annelerin davranışsal sorunlarının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya primer enürezis nokturna tanısı konulan 97 çocuk ile annesi alındı. Altmışaltı sağlıklı çocuk ile annesi de kontrol grubu olarak alındı. Çalışmaya katılan çocuklara‘Çocuklar İçin Durumluk-Sürekli Kaygı Envanteri’, annelere ise ‘Sürekli Öfke ve Öfke Tarz Ölçeği’ dolduruldu. Bulgular: Enürezis nokturna tanısı alan hastaların yaş ortalaması 10,44±1,18 idi. Hasta grubunda ve kontrol grubundaki çocukların ‘Durumluk Kaygı Ölçeğinden’ aldıkları puan ortalaması sırasıyla 37,96±5,21 ve 29,31±2,45 idi. ‘Sürekli Kaygı Ölçeğinden’ ise hasta grubunun ve kontrol grubunun aldığı puan ortalaması sırasıyla 40,42±6,01 ve 30,59±2,11 idi (p=0,00; p=0,00). Hasta grubu ve kontrol grubu annelerinin sürekli ‘öfke alt grubu’ ortalama puanları sırasıyla 30,75±3,56 ve 19,24±3,99 saptandı (p=0,00). ‘Öfke-kontrol’ alt grubunda hasta grubu ve kontrol grubu annelerinin ortalama puanı sırasıyla 17,38±4,74 ve 24,06±4,41 saptandı (p=0,00). ‘Öfke-dışta’ alt grup değerlendirmesinde hasta grubu ve kontrol grubu annelerinin ortalama puanı sırasıyla 20,30±3,82 ve 16,93±4,38 (p=0,00) idi. ‘Öfke-içte’ alt grup değerlendirmesinde ise hasta grubu ve kontrol grubu annelerinin ortalama puanı 16,98±4,31 ve 22,22±5,10 olarak saptandı (p=0,00). Sonuç: Enürezisin çocuklarda önemli düzeyde kaygıya neden olduğu, annelerde de psikolojik etkilenmeye neden olabileceği unutulmamalıdır.

EVALUATION OF THE ANXIETY AND ANGER STATUS OF PATIENTS WITH ENURESIS NOCTURNA AND THEIR MOTHERS

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the anxiety and anger status of children with primary enuresis nocturna and the behavioral problems of their mothers.Materials and Methods: The study included 97 children diagnosed as primary enuresis nocturna and their mothers. Sixty six healthy children and their mothers were included as control group. All children filled out State-Trait Anxiety Inventory and their mothers filled out Anger Expression Inventory.Findings: The mean of the patients age was 10.44±1.18 years. The mean score of State Anxiety Scale in the patient group and control group were 37.96±5.21 and 29.31±2.45 respectively. The mean score of Trait Anxiety Scale, the patient group and control group were 40.42 ± 6.01 and 30.59 ± 2.11 respectively (p=0.00; p=0.00). The mean scores of the anger subgroup of the mothers in the patient group and control group were 30.75±3.56 and 19.24±3.99 respectively (p =0,00). In the sub-group of anger control, the mean scores of the mothers of patient and control group were 17.38 ± 4.74 and 24.06 ± 4.41 (p=0.00). In the sub-group of Anger-Out, the mean scores of the patient and control group were 20.30±3.82 and 16.93±4.38 (p=0,00) respectively. In the sub group of Anger-In, the mean scores of the mothers of patient and control group were 16.98 ± 4.31 and 22.22 ± 5.10 (p=0.00) respectively.Result: It should be kept in mind that enuresis causes significant anxiety in children and may cause psychological effects on their mothers.
